As the days get shorter and the temperature drops, that can only mean one thing: It’s going to be hard to undercoat miniatures with spray paint.

Lockdown Armies
We are now on week 9 (or is it 10?) of the Global Lockdown, and my hopes of getting lots of my backlog finished has unfortunately not happened.
The reason for this is that I am very fortunate in that I have been able to continue working from home. And I’ve been quite busy. As such, I haven’t had as much time as I hoped I would have to try and fit extra hobby sessions in.

I, like many people in this hobby, have a lot of models. Models that I fully intend to (one day) have built and painted.
I’ve found myself recently picking up a paint brush again and like the hobby butterfly that I am, have jumped from one army to the next.

Orks Tournament List
First Founding Gaming club’s first Warhammer 40k tournament of the year is this Saturday (12th May). Regular readers of this blog should be aware that I am in the process of painting a table’s worth of scenery for this tournament, as such there has been no time to prepare a new army or even new units.
This means that once again, I’m sticking to good old Orks.
Praetorian XXIV Imperial Guard
With the weather being awful recently, I have been unable to undercoat the last two scenery prices for my half year project and so I have taken the opportunity to keep my finger on the hobby pulse by building some Imperial Guard (Astra Militarum) models.
Project Update – Munitorum Armoured Containers & Vengeance Weapon Battery
This weekend finally saw me finish both the Munitorum Armoured Containers as well as the Vengeance Weapon Battery.

Warhammer Conquest: The Magazine
So today I have subscribed to the new Warhammer Conquest magazine.
The magazine is probably not aimed at people like me who have been in the hobby for years, but I’m interested to see what the magazine contains. After all, I’m a sucker for all things Games Workshop.
