It’s that time of year again when plans are made to be better/fitter/healthier people in the coming year.
Well just like last year, I will be refusing to join a gym and get involved with all that running around and getting sweaty. Instead, my New Year’s Resolution will be to to complete some hobby goals.
So here is my list of hobby goals for 2019:
- Paint the contents of Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower
- Paint Lost Patrol
- Play Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower
- Play some narrative 40K games
I can’t justify purchasing Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress when I have neither built or played WQ: Silver Tower that I’ve had for years.
The same is also true for Lost Patrol. The Omega Guardians could do with some scout reinforcements, so makes sense to get this set painted. I’m also keen to start a Hive Fleet Hydra Tyranid / Genestealer Cult.
I really want to play some more 40K this year as I feel I didn’t play enough last year. I will be aiming to play some narrative games this year, such as the Last Stand at Glazer’s Creek or some of the missions from the various 40k starter sets that I’ve collected over the years. Hopefully I’ll be able to write these games up as a Battle Report for this blog.
So those are my goals for 2019. It doesn’t seem like much, but 2019 is going to be a busy year so I don’t know how much hobby time I’m going to get.
