Home made army storage

I, like many people in this hobby, have a lot of models. Models that I fully intend to (one day) have built and painted.

I’ve found myself recently picking up a paint brush again and like the hobby butterfly that I am, have jumped from one army to the next.

At the moment, I don’t have enough models painted for any of the armies that I could game with. As a result, it’s left me with a little dilemma, where do I keep these models?

Battle Report – The Long & Winding Road (Does it 8th?)

With the country in lockdown due to Covid-19, my regular (if you can call it that) wargaming has had to stop.

What therefore is a Wargamer to do?

The answer, is solo play. And what better mission for solo play than the second solo mission from Dark Vengeance? Once again this is a mission from 6th/7th edition so how would it play with 8th edition rules. Would it be completely one sided or completely broken?

First Strike

At one of the schools I work at, we’ve started running a Warhammer Club.

In the past few weeks we’ve been getting quite a bit of interest from students who started at the school this September.

To try and inspire them I decided to paint all of the contents of the first strike starter set that I donated to the club.

40K Campaign – The Siege of Falx – Updated Rules

After writing the first draft of campaign rules, I shared them with three gaming friends who I thought would be interested in taking part in the campaign.

The feedback was positive and a few questions were raised. Ideas have since been bounced back and fourth and I’m fairly confident that we now have a campaign that players would be keen to get involved in.

It’s been a couple of years since I finished painting my Planetary Empires set, and it’s still one of my proudest completed painting projects.

I still enjoy putting the set together in different combinations and often think how cool it would be to use the set in a campaign.
