This week I’ve finally managed to finish my Catachans.
I’ve worked on these guys during the lockdown and they were mostly finished except for their bases.

Continue reading “Who ya gonna call?…”It has been a long while since I’ve added anything to my Ork army.
Continue reading “Ork Reinforcements”We are now on week 9 (or is it 10?) of the Global Lockdown, and my hopes of getting lots of my backlog finished has unfortunately not happened.
The reason for this is that I am very fortunate in that I have been able to continue working from home. And I’ve been quite busy. As such, I haven’t had as much time as I hoped I would have to try and fit extra hobby sessions in.
Continue reading “Lockdown Armies”With the country in lockdown, I’ve finally gotten round to putting some paint on some models. Two squads that I’ve needed to get done are some terminators and scouts for the Omega Guardians.
Continue reading “First and Tenth”I, like many people in this hobby, have a lot of models. Models that I fully intend to (one day) have built and painted.
I’ve found myself recently picking up a paint brush again and like the hobby butterfly that I am, have jumped from one army to the next.
At the moment, I don’t have enough models painted for any of the armies that I could game with. As a result, it’s left me with a little dilemma, where do I keep these models?
Continue reading “Home made army storage”With the country in lockdown due to Covid-19, my regular (if you can call it that) wargaming has had to stop.
What therefore is a Wargamer to do?
The answer, is solo play. And what better mission for solo play than the second solo mission from Dark Vengeance? Once again this is a mission from 6th/7th edition so how would it play with 8th edition rules. Would it be completely one sided or completely broken?
There’s only one way to find out – FIGHT!
Continue reading “Battle Report – The Long & Winding Road (Does it 8th?)”At one of the schools I work at, we’ve started running a Warhammer Club.
In the past few weeks we’ve been getting quite a bit of interest from students who started at the school this September.
To try and inspire them I decided to paint all of the contents of the first strike starter set that I donated to the club.
After twelve weeks of battle, the campaign has come to an end…
I’ve been meaning to post about the current state of the 40k campaign that I am running at my local gaming club (First Founding Gaming Club), but I just haven’t had the time to get round to it.
Just too dumb to run away
