Entering the 3rd Dimension

Recently I was chatting to HuntPR, and he informed me of his plans to get into the world of 3D printing.

3D printing isn’t something I’ve ever really been interested in, but since we have a 3D printer at work that I’m gonna have to start supporting, I thought it might be a good idea to start looking into it.

The Good got Greater

This weekend I am once again partaking in First Founding’s 40K Doubles Tournament.

Last year I built and painted 1000pts of Tau just so that me and my mate Kanan could bring double Tau to the tournament. Things did not go to plan, and after zero practice games with a brand new army, it was no surprise that we came last (by no small margin either!)

So this year what better way to learn from the previous year’s mistakes by once again bringing double Tau?

Imperial March – Tempestus Scions

My original plan for Imperial March was to build and paint an Imperial Guard platoon in a similar way to Peachy at The Painting Phase but over a month rather than 14hours.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to build any models (March it turns out is a very busy month for me – which is why this blog post is now in April!), so instead I tried to focus on Imperial models that I already had built and basecoated.

Tournament Tau

Yesterday I took part in a doubles tournament held by my local gaming group. The tournament consisted of 3 games of Warhammer 40,000, between teams of two players.

Junk Town

I’ve got some ideas for running a Christmas themed Kill Team game featuring none other than Da Red Gobbo.

The game idea will be similar to the game that was played on Warhammer+ last year (if you’ve not seen it, I fully recommend that you check it out). Here is some info from the Warhammer Community website

While the version I’m aiming to play will be using different rules (Kill Team 2018) the premise of a kill team attacking Da Red Gobbo at his place of work will be central to it. Therefore Da Red Gobbo needs his own little grotto. Enter Kill Team Octarius terrain.
