The Sector Mechanicus kits that Games Workshop has produced are amazing. Other than the expense of them, the other downside was that Games Workshop never gave you enough of the pieces to build large platforms.

Sector Mechanicus: Part 5
I’ve had this scenery kit on my shelf for a few years, and only now have I had the hobby motivation to finally get it finished.

It’s been a long while since my last blog post and even longer since I’ve tackled some Sector Mechanicus terrain.

With the gaming club night failling on the day after Halloween, I was keen to get some Halloween themed gaming in.
As more people equals more fun, I planned to run a four player Boarding Actions game and with the added theme of Halloween, I created some additional rules to mix things up.

With my first 40k tournament using the 10th edition Tau codex coming up this weekend, I needed a new Warlord as Crisis Commanders are no longer a thing.

This month’s painting project was some Aeronautica Imperialis models. I’ve been wanting to paint up some of these models for a while as the models are awesome.
It’s a shame that it’s now a dead game. There were more models I would have liked to pick up for it, but never got a chance to. Hopefully one day GW will bring them back.
