New Models for the Warhammer Club

With the schools reopening to students after the summer holidays, we are once again running a Warhammer Club at the school I work at.

Due to commitments outside of work last year, I was unable to help out at the club. There’s no such issue this year so it’s time to get some new  models built and painted up.

With only a weekend to spend I decided to use some quick paint schemes.

The Necrons were painted in the colours of the Nihilakh Dynasty, but skipping some of the steps that I used on my own models.

The Space Marines were painted as Black Templars as I thought keeping them as mostly black might make them quick to do.

I’ve got some more Necrons and Space Marines to paint and for the Space Marines at least, I’m aiming to keep them in units of 3 and will paint them up as a few different chapters. This way it’ll be easier for students to play as different teams against each other.

Next up will be some Blood Angels as Assault Intercessors, then I’ll need to paint up some standard intercessors for both the Blood Angels and the Black Templars.

We’re now halfway through the month of September and so I should be working on my Silver Tower set for this month’s project, so those Space Marines may have to wait…

  1. That’s so awesome that your students have a warhammer club to attend. I would have loved for that back in the 90s. Good on you for working hard to make the hobby available to your students. Cheers!
