Continuing on with the showing off of models I managed to finish for The Fall of Vitria VII event, it is now time for the tanks!
I wasn’t super happy with the colour I had used on my previous tanks, so wanted something that incorporated that colour but would also match the Cadian Platoon that will eventually join my Astra Militarum Force.
I love the idea that in a future with auspex scanners and fancy sensors, a tank that is bellowing out exhaust smoke, is painted, not only in camouflage patterns to try and hide it, but also with massive red and white stripes, identifying the Tank Company it belongs to.
First up is what all Tank Companies need, a Tank Commander:
This guy is armed with the Lethal Vanquisher Cannon (if it ever hits!l and Plasma Cannons.
I have used the old Tank Commander Pask model for my Commander, but I have christened him Tank Commander Tempest, as he looks like he should be piloting Stingray…
Next up is a Leman Russ Exterminator:

Lastly, there is the faithful Chimera. I’ve got to be honest, I don’t care for the new Centaur RSV, this is the troop transport for me.
