2025 – A Year in Review

So there were plans for 2025, so many plans…

Did I achieve any of them? Not really.

The year started strongly by getting some additions painted up for my Goliath gang, then it all fell flat.

The Necromunda campaign was halted indefinitely (not before my leader died on a Rogue Doc’s operating table after game 2!).

The planned Boarding Actions campaign was also a false start. I never got round to finishing any of the models for my Boarding Actions force and that seems to be the theme for the rest of the year.

Aside from some pieces of Sector Mechanicus Terrain, I don’t think I properly finished any other models.

Most of the models are just a few paints, transfers or basing away from being completed so maybe 2026 will be a great year for my model collection.

This year I once again kept a log of my hobby spending (this time ignoring paints and only focusing on models and rulebooks).

The key take away is that I spent less than last year (hooray!) but I still spent far too much on plastic.

If I get a chance I might look at posting a comparison of 2025 vs 2024, but blogging has alsoΒ  been something that I’ve not been good at this year.

Maybe 2026 will be better…

Happy New Year!
