This month’s painting project was some Aeronautica Imperialis models. I’ve been wanting to paint up some of these models for a while as the models are awesome.
It’s a shame that it’s now a dead game. There were more models I would have liked to pick up for it, but never got a chance to. Hopefully one day GW will bring them back.
I’ve got an idea for a campaign which will include different 40k gaming systems, one of them being Aeronautica Imperialis. The campaign might never happen, but it certainly won’t if the models aren’t painted!
The above Thunderbolt will be my ace pilot and so will need a suitable daredevil kinda name. I gave him the white wing decals but I’m not too happy with how I’ve tried to paint the panel lines over them. I probably needed a slightly lighter black. It will do though (not sure I can do much to change it now anyway).
