May the Battleforce be with you – Black Ark Corsairs

This month’s project was to build and paint the Start Collecting! Anvilgard boxset.

While I have not been able to finish painting the whole boxset, I’m not far off.

First up is the Black Ark Corsairs.

These guys were painted mostly using the Slapchop method. I found the method to be quite enjoyable, but I’m concerned I may rub off some of the contrast paint. The next step for these models will be some varnish.

I’ve no idea whether they are game legal in Age of Sigmar but if I ever use them, it will be in Warcry and so I thought the hand crossbows would mix things up.
