My plan this month was to paint something that fit the justice theme. In my head, this meant something like the Enforcers from Necromunda, the Adeptus Arbites from Kill Team: Soul Shackle or some members of the Justice Department from the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game.
It turns out that the phantom hobby butterfly struck once again and my gaze was diverted elsewhere.
While it’s great to focus on a project, that shouldn’t be at the expense of inspiration. This is a hobby after all and you are free to do what you like.
So, have I painted some models this month? Yes I have. I will post about these in a little while.
Do they fit with this month’s theme? Mostly No. But sensing the end of the month fast approaching, I needed something that would tick the justice box and be a quick win.
Enter Judge Grice

I’ve had him mostly painted for a while now, and he’s always been just one painting session away from being finished.
I really like the Warlord Games miniatures for Judge Dredd as they are really easy to paint and look great with just base colours and a wash.
Looks good to me. I don’t know that particular character but my knowledge of JD isn’t as encyclopaedic as I might like…
